I'd Love You to Want Me

When I saw you standing there
I about fell off my chair
When you moved your mouth to speak
I felt the blood go to my feet

Now it took time for me to know
What you tried so not to show
Something in my soul just cried
I see the want in your blue eyes

Baby, I'd love you to want me
The way that I want you
The way that it should be

Baby, you'd love me to want you
The way that I want to
If you'd only let it be

You told yourself years ago
You'd never let your feelings show
The obligation that you made
For the title that they gave

Baby, I'd love you to want me
The way that I want you
The way that it should be

Baby, you'd love me to want you
The way that I want to
If you'd only let it be

Italian for Beginners

This is a romance type of fiction story book wrote by Kristin Harmel.

Light reading, and predictable story book but suitable for fun leisure reading. The book has well pictured the heart of Roman city that makes the reader wants to visit Italy some day! Not to mention having the desire to watch "Roman Holiday" too! (If you know what I mean. ^^)

Love the Italian elements and food descriptions so much! (it makes me feel absolute hungry and wanted to taste those Italy foods as well!) Some moral values were well taught in the book too! So pupils, have fun reading it!

The book description as below:

"Thirty-four-year-old Manhattan accountant Cat Connelly has always lived life on the safe side. But after her little sister gets married, Cat wonders if she has condemned herself to a life of boredom by playing by the rules. She decides to take a chance for once, accepting an invitation to spend a month with an old flame in Italy. But her reunion with the slick and gorgeous Francesco is short-lived, and she finds herself suddenly alone in Rome. Now, she must see if she has the courage to live outside the lines for the first time - and to face a past she never understood. It will take an unexpected friendship with a fiery Italian waitress, a whirlwind Vespa tour of the Eternal City with a handsome stranger, and a surprise encounter with an old acquaintance to show Cat that life doesn't always work out the way you expect, but sometimes you have to have fall in order to fly."

P.S. Ciao, bella~!

Eskimo Kiss

The Eskimo kiss has long been thought to be a way for Eskimos to kiss so their lips didn't freeze together in cold Arctic conditions. In reality it's used as a substitute for shaking hands since Eskimos typically have only their nose and eyes exposed for physical contact. However in this modern world culture, everyone can enjoy the 'touch' since it seems to be quite common now; At least in western countries!
The correct way to do an Eskimo kiss:

1. Put your arms around the one you wish to give an Eskimo kiss to, or put your hands on their arms.

2. Put your face closer to his or her face. You may have to bend over or pull them down closer to you. Make it so you are eye to eye, nose to nose with them.

3. Make it a loving gesture and not a rough, cumbersome one to obtain the desired effect and leave the recipient joyful with a smile on his or her face.

4. Place the left edge of the tip of your nose gently on the left edge of the tip of his or her nose.

5. Go back and forth lightly like a butterfly's wings over his or her nose.

6. Pull back and smile at your loved one. You just made their day. :D

Effect of Eskimo kiss:

"An Eskimo kiss can be romantic with a boyfriend, girlfriend, wife or husband. Spouses and significant others love to receive an Eskimo kiss because it is a gesture of true affection.

An Eskimo kiss can be a sweet and affectionate gesture to a child. Children love Eskimo kisses and it leaves them feeling loved and happy.."

Therefore Eskimo kissing is a form of expressing affection, usually between family members and loved ones, that involve two people rubbing their noses together. It's a actually a non-erotic form of greeting that serves as an intimate way of greeting one another.

P.S. Anyone,

hehehe..

Definition for bungee jump as below:

"Bungee jumping (also spelled 'Bungy' jumping)is an activity that involves jumping from a tall structure while connected to a large elastic cord. The tall structure is usually a fixed object, such as a building, bridge or crane; but it is also possible to jump from a movable object, such as a hot-air-balloon or helicopter, that has the ability to hover above the ground. The thrill comes as much from the free-falling as from the rebounds.

When the person jumps, the cord stretches and the jumper flies upwards again as the cord snaps back, and continues to oscillate up and down until all the energy is dissipated."

Four-leaf Clover

People believe in various type of things. This is what I believe in-Four-leaf Clover. It brings a very deep meaning to my life, so if you ever notice my bag, you will see one of them is hanging on it. Although I never seem mention anything about the clover in public but I do care it a lot. Reason...? That will be something that you need to guess from me... Haha! Sorry! :P

Hope that one day when I'm rich enough, not to mention I'm still young too, I would like to go oversea to find the clover By Myself! I always wish that the clover'd share its power with me whenever I'm in deep shit, the first leaf is for Faith, the second leaf is for Hope, the third leaf is for Love, and the last one is for Luck!
Clover identification:

"The plants that produce our four-leaf clovers are Trifolium repens , White Clover. Although, the plants mainly produce the common three-leaf clover (or Shamrock), we hand pick the lucky four-leaf clovers that the plant produces. Each leaf goes through a special preserving and drying process to preserve the natural green color. We then incorporate the actual leaf into jewelry, gifts and cards for our Clovers Online products."

History of the clover:

"The four leaf clover is a universally accepted symbol of good luck with its origin ages old. According to legend, Eve carried a four leaf clover from the Garden of Eden. The clovers also occupied a position in the cultural life of early peoples. White clover (T. repens L.) in particular was held in high esteem by the early Celts of Wales as a charm against evil spirits. 'Clover Science and Technology'. N.L. Taylor, 1985. Druids held the 4 leaf clover in high esteem and considered them a sign of luck. In 1620, Sir John Melton wrote: 'If a man walking in the fields find any four-leaved grass, he shall in a small while after find some good thing.' The mystique of the four leaf clover continues today, since finding a real four leaf clover is still a rare occurrence and omen of good luck."

How I Met Your Mother

Hi, here's one of my favourite comedy show of all-How I Met Your Mother. The script is humorous, romantic comedies depend on appealing actors, unpredictable storyline with lots of touchy moments, tears, and surprises. No doubt, you'll definitely like the show if you watched all the seasons like I do.
The show description as below:

"Narrated by an (unseen) man in the year 2030 telling his children the story of his 20-something years, this 'Friends'-like sitcom actually revolves around a group of five friends in present-day Manhattan."

To those who'd love the show,
Here's some hilarious websites that will tickles your funny bone, :D

The Book of Tomorrow

Alright, here's my 1st upload for the blog. Recently I had finished reading this story book. It's nice and interesting, definitely not a bored book to read because the story actually took a different turn rather than the old style novel storyline..
The book description as below:

"Tamara Goodwin has always got everything she’s ever wanted. Born into a family of wealth, she grew up in a mansion with its own private beach, a wardrobe full of designer clothes, and a large four poster bed complete with a luxurious bathroom en-suite. She’s always lived in the here and now, never giving a second thought to tomorrow.

But then suddenly her dad is gone and life for Tamara and her mother changes forever. Left with a mountain of debt, they have no choice but to sell everything they own and move to the country to live with Tamara’s Uncle and Aunt. Nestled next to Kilsaney Castle, their gate house is a world away from Tamara’s childhood. With her Mother shut away with grief, and her Aunt busy tending to her, Tamara is lonely and bored and longs to return to Dublin.

When a travelling library passes through Kilsaney Demesne, Tamara is intrigued. She needs a distraction. Her eyes rest on a mysterious large leather bound tome locked with a gold clasp and padlock. With some help, Tamara finally manages to open the book. What she discovers within the pages takes her breath away and shakes her world to its core."

Nevertheless, I found out that the hardback cover for 'the book of tomorrow' really is one of the prettiest ones I have ever seen. ^^ Do enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoy sharing my thoughts with you.
